As customers come and go during the day, ideas flow easily among people
Because Via Cappuccino loves to stimulate thought and cause people to
ask the "big questions," theological discussions are held weekly.

The White Horse Inn is a group which meets Thursday nights at 7:30
to contemplate the meatier issues within the Christian faith.
Different views are welcomed and encouraged to contribute to the
lively conversation. Various other Bible Studies convene at the
coffee shop throughout the week. Ask at the counter if you are
interested in joining a discussion group.

This fall the Rocky Mount Grace Reformed Baptist Church is sponsoring a continuing series
of White Horse Inn discussions. The topic of discussion for this fall and spring will be John
Calvin's Institutes of the Christian Religion. This book has profoundly affected the course
of both religious and secular history since the publication of its final version in 1559.
It is a deep reflection on the Biblical Gospel of the Grace of God toward sinners.
Calvin had a profound grasp of the Scriptures as well as the writings of the early church
fathers. He shows that the Gospel recovered at the time of the reformation was not a novelty,
but is grounded in Scripture and was believed in the early church.
